Lydia Forte, the group director of food and beverage at the famous Rocco Forte Hotels, has confirmed her place at BITES Live.
Forte brings all of her experience of directing the F&B at the international hotel group, which has properties across Europe as well as Brown’s Hotel in London and The Balmoral in Edinburgh.
Under Forte’s direction, Brown’s Hotel has been hit the headlines recently for the creation of its new bar The Donovan and destination restaurant, Beck at Brown’s, from renowned three-Michelin-starred chef Heniz Beck.
As part of The Investment Panel discussion, Forte will join Scott Collins (MEATliquor), David Page (Fulham Shore) and Chris Miller (White Rabbit Fund). The four first met on BBC’s Million Pound Menu and will surely make for an exciting live showpiece.
BITES Live is a new conference that has been launched for the hospitality and foodservice industries.
BITES Live will bring together industry leaders to discuss a number of elements across the UK’s high streets that affect hospitality and foodservice, such as sustainability, investment and expansion, in front of an audience made up of operators from six sectors.
“We’re so excited to bring BITES Live to the market,” says Tristan O’Hana, editorial director of H2O Publishing. “By curating a speaker line-up of such high quality and experience, attendees at BITES Live will be able to consider a number of creative operational elements from all areas of the foodservice and hospitality industries. What’s happening on the high street is crucial to these markets – BITES Live is here to inform, captivate and inspire forward-thinking operators.”
The conference has been created following the launch of BITES – a fortnightly high street mailer that looks at Brands, Insights, Trends and Experiences.
BITES Live is taking place on Wednesday 10 October at the Royal Garden Hotel in London. To be in the audience and hear from your peers from the casual dining, pubs, bars, hotels, cafés and contract catering sectors, visit biteslive.co.uk for tickets.
